The Word is True…
Hi guys.
Have you ever gone through a dark period in your life? Where you felt that things were not working out the way you wanted at the time you wanted it? We’ve all been there. And I stayed at that point longer than I should have. I had so many questions about myself. Who I was, where I was at the moment and where I was going.
But I forgot that the Word of God was my mirror. It was my compass.
He said to me: “Lines have fallen unto me in pleasant places, yea I have a goodly heritage of the Lord.” (Ps 16: 6)
It took me a long time but I’m just beginning to get it.
This is not a long post guys so I’m going to leave you with the words of this song:
The Word is true
The Word is Life
It has the power to change your life
Faith, Hope and Love is in the Word
When heaven and earth pass away
The Word of God will remain
It may take you time to realize
But whatever you need you can find it in the Word.
Believe it guys because its true.
The Word! I have also had my fair share of dryness, or better still…..wilderness experience as some of my mates and I used to call it. But the word; the true word of God saved me by “bringing my feet out of the miry clay and set my feet upon the rock that is higher than I”
I remember sometimes between 1996 – 1997, I used God’s word through the efficacy of prayer to win diverse battles which I still truly enjoy the victory till date; because I was liberated completely.
Let the Word of Christ dwell richly in you!!!!
